Hello my lovelies,
Happy April, can you believe it is April already? Where is this year going? It is great to see the weather changing though and the lovely Sun coming it, I don't know about you but it makes me feel so much better!
Apologies for the lateness of this Newsletter, I have been somewhat snowed under this week, with one thing and another.
So....we have the long awaited Distress Oxide Class on Saturday 20th April, between 10am and 3pm at Grove Green Community Hall, ME14 5BT and it is fully booked. I have some great things in store for you!
Those of you attending, we will be using the following items, so if you have any of the following and can bring them with you it may save you having to wait for items:
Distress Oxide Inks, heat gun, fine nozzle water spray bottle, Stamping Press or large acrylic block, favourite background stencils (male orientated), fine paint brush, clear embossing powder, apron and gloves if you don't like messy hands, baby wipes, kitchen roll.
I will of course have some amounts of these items but you may have to share, if you don't like sharing then bring them with you. Items will be available to buy at the shop too.
Prepare to get messy ladies!!
This is a sneak peek at one of the sample cards......
The next workshop coming up after this one is on Sunday May 13th and is a textile workshop. I have been asked to re-run the canvas bag workshop as a few people missed out but there are two options for this one, either the canvas tote bag or a fabric cushion cover. In this workshop you will learn how to use fabric paint on to fabric using various techniques, also using stencils, stamps aand rice paper to create a wonderful piece of art that you can use in the home or whilst out shopping.
The cost of the workshop is £30.00 and can be booked on the website HERE
The following workshop is on 26th May and is the Foam Flower Card making Master Class.
In this class you will learn how to make different types of foam flowers and make up to four cards. You will also get £10.00 worth of goods to take home with you included in the class price. You can book this workshop HERE
All workshops must be booked and paid for in advance.
My mobile shop will be present during the workshops and is open to all, so if you're in the area feel free to drop in.
In other news, I've added lots of new items to the website, including new IndigoBlu stamps which we will be using in the oxide workshop, dies, Paper Artsy Stamps, Hobby Art Stamps, Crackle paint, brayers, press to impress magnets and lots more........
The May issue of Craft Stamper is in stock and on the website. As always, it's packed full of gorgeous mixed media and stamping projects and includes a FREE acrylic stamp............
I think that's all the news for now. I hope you have a great April and I'm looking to forward to seeing many of you at the workshops.
Hugs, Lisa B xx
