Note Book Hanger.......

Good morning peeps, how are we all today?

I thought I would show you something a little bit different today. I really enjoy playing around with MDF wooden shapes and I used a lovely bobbin shape from Anna Marie Designs and did my own take on it. They are available on my website
 HERE........

I began by painting the bobbin with Martha Stewart Summer Linen acrylic paint and left to dry.
I then used a Blending Tool to add some Weathered Wood Distress Ink around the edges of the bobbin and whilst it was wet added some Wow Clear sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set it to make a lovely sparkly edge.......

The note pad attached to it can be purchased in poundland and if I remember rightly you get about 5 in a pack assorted colours. I used a turquoise one and then softened the top of it with some of the acrylic paint and then covered the rest of it with the gorgeous Baby Blue Dottie Card.
I also added a strip of it across the centre and attached some lace top and bottom of it......

I tied off a hanger with some ribbon and then I made a double bow with some co-ordinating ribbon, then added some ready made flowers on the centre and a few punched leaves......

I rolled up a piece of co-ordinating Sage Green Dottie Card to make a holder for the pen and attached it to the bobbin.......

I pleated a doily and then attached it to the front of the note pad and then added a matching Anna Marie Designs Sentiment and another tail of ribbon and flower......

Well I hope that you have enjoyed seeing something a little bit different today......
I will be back on Wednesday with another different MDF make to show you. Have a great weekend and I will see you all soon.....

Big hugs Lisa.B xx
