Speedy Butterflies

*This is a BUTTERFLIES & FLOWERS promotion post. Remember to leave a comment to be entered in the giveaway.*
Morning all, Kirsten here with two very quick cards to show you.
This one has the large die cut butterfly coloured with alcohol inks & a little
Diamond Sparkle Medium...
I used a piece of Anna Marie Designs Trellis card over a piece of blue core'dinations card & stamped the word with the Hobby Art Typed Alphabet clear stamp set..........
Here I used the 'waste' from the piece of Trellis card & glued it to a piece of the Anna Marie Designs Lavender Lace dottie card (I love these dottie A4 cards, the colours are all so gorgeous).
I die cut the smaller butterfly twice, once from pearlescent card & once from another piece of the dottie card, then layered them together on a small paper doily...............
 NB The butterfly dies sold out at the August class, but they can be ordered from Lisa. Phone her on 01622 675078, or send her an email;

Die- cut Trellis Card    Dottie Lavender Lace      Alphabet Typed      Mini Circular Doilies     Hobby House Golden Trio 5mm Pearls      Stazon Ink Pads
Until next time, take care.

  1. Love the effects you can get colouring and sparkling the butterfly.

  2. Very pretty cards. The trellis card is lovely to use as the 'waste' is a great size to use as an embellishment. I especially love the top card. x

  3. Clever use of the waste trellis here! two great cards.

  4. Two gorgeous cards. Love the simplicity of these.

  5. The large butterfly looks gorgeous and, I think you're right and the papers look lovely. Will have to investigate those. Thank you, Jan

  6. Two great quick cards, that trellis is very effective, thanks. X

  7. Sorry this may be a repeat but I think Blogger ate another of my comments here, grr!
    Both of these are stunning! I love the trellis card with that Tiffany blue behind it - so very classy and elegant and I love the inked up butterfly and use of the 'waste' on the second card. TY very much for sharing Karen xx
