Butterfly Box.....

Good morning, wishing you all well.......
As you know by now I love butterflies and one of my favourites sets at the moment is the Hobby Art Butterflies stamp set and the other week I thought that I would have a play around with a pop up box card as everyone seemed to be doing them.
Butterflies  Script & Grasses Set
So this is what I came up with......

I really enjoyed making this box using this set it was perfect for it.
I also used the Script and Grasses stamp set which worked really well with the butterflies......

I stamped the images with Onyx Black Versafine ink and then embossed them with Wow Clear
You can see the sparkle on the message.....

I used a wash of Weathered Wood Distress ink to add some colour to the butterflies and used a blending tool to soften off the edges of the box......
Well I hope that you have enjoyed my flutterby inspiration, I will be back soon with some more projects to show you.....

Big hugs Lisa B xx

  1. This looks really beautiful Lisa. I have a box card a friend sent to me but haven't had a go myself.

  2. Made a couple, to anyone who hasn't tried they are really easy (the only fiddly bit is getting the middle bits in), but they weren't as stunning as yours! :-)

  5. That is so beautiful. Anyone would be pleased to receive something like that. I have made some pop-up box cards. I find them a bit fiddly but well worth it. I shall try something tasteful, like yours! Thank you, Jan
