Playful Pixies

Good morning, Kirsten here with my second last Lavinia Stamps post.
I used one of the
background papers again, but this time as the base for my focal images. In each pack there are twelve 8x8 double sided sheets, two of each. I used one sheet for the base & cut the fairies & moon from another sheet.

I applied Mowed Lawn & Forest Pine to the bottom of the sheet & Salty Ocean & Chipped Sapphire to the top……

040

I stamped the Spring Trees on each side with Onyx Black Versafine, heat setting with clear embossing powder & stamping the tiny dots with Peony Versacolor ink………..
I stamped the Zen Houses onto Super Smooth white card, again with Versafine & setting with clear EP. Coloured them with watercolour pencils & Silkies & cut them out………

045

The Zen Tall Mushrooms were stamped onto the card, masked off while I stamped the trees, then the tops were stamped & coloured separately & cut out……..

044

I stamped some Weaving Ivy at the bottom, added Glossy Accents to the windows, Stardust Stickles to the pixies' wings & Silver Stickles to the moon.

That’s it, quite a quick card to put together.

Flowers and words

Hi! It's Georgina.

Today I have a card to share with you using Lavinia stamps which are available from Lisa B Designs

To make this card I started by stamping the wording in black ink to the front of a 119x119mm white card blank. I then cut around the edge of the words as shown below.

Inside the card I stamped the Mini Zen Flowers stamps with Sunshine Yellow, Watermelon, Stream and Aqua Adirondack ink pads.

For the front of the card I stamped the flowers again in the same colours onto a separate piece of paper. I also stamped one of the flowers Meadow Adirondack ink pad for leaves. I cut out all the flowers and added them to the front of the card. To finish the card I added Opal White Liquid Pearls to the centres of the flowers.

More Hobby Art samples from Create and Craft.......

Good Morning all, Happy Saturday.........

As promised here are the other samples that I made for Jenny Mayes over at Hobby Art for her show on Create and Craft. Some were using the gorgeous new Vintage Stamp Set and also the Perfume Bottles and French Script as well as Flourishes......
All the new sets will be available at my Event Day on 19th July as Jenny will be there demonstrating and then on the website afterwards......

The first one I kept monochromatic with just a shot of colour...........

The next I just used a single Perfume Bottle and kept it simple and then glazed the bottle with Glossy Accents.......a great girlfriend card.......
The next one is very soft and I used a Craftwork Cards Postcard on this one it just worked so well with it......
I added Rhinestone Dazzlers to the centre of the flowers.....

A mix of all three stamp sets on this one, I love the way they work so well together.......

A little brighter colours on this one, I used Anna Marie Designs Striped Passion pink Card for the background and used all three Perfume Bottles and the French Script Stamp......
I coloured the images in Pro-Markers......

I hope that you have enjoyed the inspiration, I really enjoyed working with these stamps. Let me know what you think.....

Have a great weekend,

Hugs Lisa.B.x

Watercolour Spring Flowers...

Good Morning and happy Friday

This week I've made another card with the
Woodware Clear Magic Spring Flowers stamp,
which sold out at the June class, but Lisa can order it for you.
 Email her at lisabaker1@btinternet.com

Using Stazon Jet Black, I stamped the image on to watercolour card and used
to add some colour to the edges and centres of the flowers and leaves

I then dragged the colour into the flowers and leaves with a wet (but not too wet) paintbrush

I matted and layered the image on to some core'dinations card stock called
Dahlia and some Anna Marie Designs Dottie Card in Aquamarine (awaiting new stock)

I punched the sides of the Dahlia card using a Martha Stewart Punch
and rounded the corners of the watercolour card and Dottie card with a
Woodware Regular Corner Rounder punch

The card blank is a Craftwork Cards Scalloped Edge 148 x 148mm

I finished off by drawing some dashes with a black fine liner pen, adding
some Stickles Star Dust Glitter Glue and a few Hobby House Adhesive Rhinestones to the centres of the flowers
