I have a two cards to share with you today. A birthday and Christmas card both made with the Christmas baubles clear stamp set available from Lisa B. Designs. Yes this is a Christmas Bauble stamp set but I have used the lovely design on the stamp shapes to create petals and leaves. This is an all-year-round stamp set!
This is the birthday card...
I started by stamping the bauble shapes onto Pastel mixed double sided premium pearlescent card. I used Tattered Rose, Dusty Concord, Forest Moss Distress ink pad.
I also stamped three small baubles in Mustard Seed Distress ink. I cut out all the circles and attached them together, as shown below, to create the flower heads.
I used the long bauble stamp to create the background pattern on an 8x8 white card blank, as shown below. I used Antique Linen Distress ink pad to stamp the baubles. I also lightly distressed the edges with a Blending Tool.
I then attached the flower heads to the card blank. I also added the leaf shapes. A close-up of the flowers below.
I stamped the sentiment with Walnut Stain Distress ink onto cream pearlescent card. The sentiment stamps is Hobby Art's Birthday Collection stamp set. To finish the card I added Liquid Pearls around the sentiment and in the corners of the card.
For my second card I used the Christmas baubles clear stamp set again but as actual baubles this time. I stamped three different baubles with Barn Door Distress ink pad onto a white 148x148mm scallop edge card blank. I also stamped a sentiment using a stamp from Hobby Art's Winter Wishes stamp set with Tuxedo Black Memento ink pad. I drew a line from the bauble to the top of the car with a black fineliner.
I added red ribbon bows to the card. To finish the card I added Opal White Liquid Pearls.
